Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

True Private Browser stores nothing and collects nothing. This policy explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing. True Private Browser has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising SDKs. The app never contacts any server of ours. We never see what you browse, what you type or who you are.

What the app keeps on your device

Nothing. Pages run in a private session that exists only in memory. There is no history, no bookmarks, no saved passwords, no cookies on disk and no saved settings. Closing the app erases the session, and the app clears any temporary files the system may leave behind each time it starts.

Searches and websites

Anything you type that isn't a web address is sent to DuckDuckGo as a search, under DuckDuckGo's privacy policy. Websites you visit receive your requests directly, as with any browser, and can see your IP address. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do.

Face ID and Touch ID

Biometric checks are handled entirely by iOS. True Private Browser only learns whether the check succeeded and never has access to your biometric data.

Purchases

True Private Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active; we receive no payment details and keep no record of your purchase.

This website

trueprivatebrowser.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers.

Children

True Private Browser is not directed at children. It is rated 16+ on the App Store because it gives unrestricted access to the web.
